Q : Why don't Goodwins Butchery provide payment option using credit card ?

A : We do not serve payment with credit card because the amount indicated on the invoice on this online shopping is ONLY an estimate as your selections will need to be weighed. The FINAL INVOICE will be sent via email, once availability of goods is confirmed and the cuts have been weighed.


Q : Your sausages Gluten Free ?

A : Our famous Australian style beef sausages are produced and supplied by PT. SANTOSA AGRINDO the sister company of big name JAPFA. 2 of 4 sausage items are CERTIFIED as GLUTEN FREE; the BRATWURST and HERB GARLIC.​


Q : I couldn't find beef ribeye brand name "xxxx" that I got from you awhile ago, where is it now? I just found beef ribeye brand name "yyyy",... is it good?

A : When your favourite beef brand name "xxxx" is not active on our website; that means not available at that time mostly because of some technical matters i.e trouble at the port, run out of imported quota etc. We will re-activate it once we have it back in stock. We replace the "xxxx" with another beef ribeye brand name "yyyy" with the quality and price similar to brand "xxxx". So the "yyyy" brand should be as good as the brand "xxxx"... Any complaint, please give us a yell.

​Q : If I order a whole cut meat that is 4kg, is it possible to get it cut into 2-3 pieces or steak cuts ?

A : ​​Whole cut item is mean to be sold as is. If you want to cut it become special cuts we can do so as follows :

  1. Special cutting requests for WHOLE CHILLED BEEF LOIN CUTS manually using butcher's knife
    • We can do this on any work days.
    • How do you want it to be cut ?
      • To cut become steaks (standard thickness is 1")
      • To cut become 2 pieces or more for roast
      • To cut half for roast and the rest as steak
    • We will cut it right before we deliver it to you.
    • We'll pack them individually with vacuum machine then will deliver it straight away as chilled including the side cuts and trimmings if any.
    • Please note :
      • The total weight of the beef will be little bit less after cutting.
      • The lost weight are; juice/blood, some fat, side trimmings and plastic bag.
      • As the steaks will be vacuumed pack while they're chilled, steak shape will be a bit squeezed as the result of the vacuum machine sucks the air from the plastic.
  2. Special cutting requests for WHOLE FROZEN MEAT using bandsaw machine
    • Our cutting production with bandsaw is once a week on Saturday. 
    • How do you want it to be cut ?
      • To cut become steaks (standard thickness is 1")
      • To cut become 2 pieces or more for roast
      • To cut half for roast and the rest as steak
    • We'll pack them individually with vacuum machine including the side cuts and trimmings if any. 
    • Please note :
      • The total weight of the beef will be little bit less after cutting with bandsaw.
      • The lost weight are; some meat/fat wet powder and plastic bag.

- We can do special cutting request only for non pork or HALAL items
- If you want special cut of pork, please let us know. We will special order it from our pork supplier as 'pre-order' which will take 3-5 working days.
